We’re on pace to spread outside of Illinois and Indiana extremely soon.”<h4>Ownership Has Increased And Expanded</h4>Since July 1, Fitness Premier 24/7 Clubs has acquired a new gym in Plainfield, Illinois and has also welcomed a new ownership team at its Crete, Illinois location. The moves have set up the brand for continued recognition, not just for individual units but for its ability to train and develop target audiences of all ages.Eric Greenhill is the franchisee behind the newest Fitness Premier location in Plainfield, his fifth location with the brand. The gym is scheduled to open later this fall and is located in a town with under 50,000 residents, a target demographic that Fitness Premier has found success with in gaining a devout following. Greenhill has maintained a commitment to visit each of his franchised locations at least twice a week, and his ownership strategy has helped substantiate the Fitness Premier footprint as it spreads throughout the Midwest.“The thing about small towns is everyone who wants to workout goes to the same place,” Greenhill said. “Everybody is in classes together. They have turned deep-rooted passion into deep-rooted ownership, further establishing the brand’s presence in a similar community size as the Plainfield expansion.“We have fed off each other extremely well up to this point,” said Gorman. “It’s going to be really easy for us to put clients first. The brand has been able to grow existing partnerships with a team of experienced employees and an understanding for what it takes to develop a brand in those markets.<h4>New States Are Showing Interest</h4>Markowicz says the Fitness Premier brand currently has 10 prospective franchisees in the brand’s pipeline for sustained expansion, with candidates eager to expand the brand in both Tennessee and Florida.
