Founded in 1999, AlignLife Chiropractic & Natural Health Center has been offering franchises since 2009 and is currently the oldest chiropractic franchise in the U.S. The brand’s self-proclaimed mission is to “help every man, woman and child to live a life of health and vitality.”
There are currently 33 AlignLife locations across 11 states in the U.S., with one in Puerto Rico.
AlignLife was founded by Dr. Joe Esposito and his sister, Dr. Cristina Esposito. Their inspiration for chiropractic and natural healthcare came from their father’s experience with the side effects of prescribed heart medication — the drug treated his heart arrhythmia but caused issues with his lungs and kidneys that eventually cost him his life. Galvanized by the loss of their father, the siblings set out to build a network of chiropractic natural health centers.
AlignLife follows a “holistic, outcome-focused model of care” that is best characterized as relational rather than transactional. It offers a range of services that include chiropractic care, weight management, functional nutrition and corporate wellness programs.
Franchise owners with AlignLife benefit from in-person and online training to provide training and assistance. Franchisees also assigned their own Development Coach to guide them through each step of the franchising process.

The initial investment for opening an AlignLife location depends on whether the franchisee is converting an existing location or opening a brand-new site.

The initial franchise fee for an AlignLife franchise is $39,000 for a conversion and $49,000 for a new location. In addition, owners must pay a royalty fee of 7% of their revenue to the franchisor.
