Gara Post is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of The NOW Massage, a new concept massage boutique offering high-quality, affordable massage services in an inspired setting. Recognized for her innovation, Gara fosters brand loyalty through the rituals of crafting experiences that leave impressions, celebrate individuality and build community. The NOW was designed as a space to escape the daily pressures of life and to recharge and reset energy and spirit.  With her business partner and husband Jason, they launched The NOW Massage in 2015. The national franchise has expanded through their company The Post Investment Group. Under Gara’s leadership, locations in LA expanded from one to four, with 100-plus boutiques set to open around the country. As an addition, Gara created NOW branded self-care product lines: Nourish, Scent and Room by the NOW. She is the DNA of the brand, keeping the vision and voice true to all boutiques, media platforms and product development. The NOW and NOW product line have a following of locals to globe-trotting influencers alike. As an experienced entrepreneur, this is not Gara’s first successful venture in the consumer product space. She’s been building brands for over 20 years; working several years in the entertainment industry; and then launching Gara Danielle Jewelry, a fine jewelry line sold in high-end boutiques nationwide and garnered a significant celebrity following. Gara is passionate about giving back to her community; serving on the Founders Circle for Wags and Walks for over 10 years; and, as a long-time volunteer with the LA Mission, providing help, hope and opportunity to men, women and children in need. Gara is a native New Yorker and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Arizona State University. About The NOW Massage: The NOW design aesthetic incorporates raw elements and natural materials that conjure nostalgic smells and scenes from remote and exotic hideaways. Everything aligns with nature, including the natural wood surfaces, cement, exposed beams coupled with sheep skins and raw-hides. This allows guests to be transported. Clients can choose heat therapy or deep tissue for a therapeutic experience. The goal of each bespoke service is to make self-care and self-discovery simple to integrate into their daily life. Currently, The NOW has locations in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Silver Lake and Studio City. With expansion plans on the horizon, The NOW is looking to open locations on the East Coast and beyond.
