Randy Shacka got his start at the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK* corporate office in Lansing, Michigan, as an intern in the marketing department while finishing his degree in engineering at Michigan State University. After completing his internship in 2002, Shacka accepted an opportunity in Florida to help open a new franchise in Seminole County. It was in his role as Operations Manager for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Seminole that he learned every aspect of the job from a franchise perspective—from mover to manager and everything in between. In 2004, Shacka returned to Home Office as a Franchise Development Specialist tasked with assisting current franchisees in growing their business and adding new franchisees to the growing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system. During the past decade, Shacka has served TWO MEN AND A TRUCK as Franchise Development Specialist, Director of Operations, Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2011. Shacka then took over the reins as president on August 1, 2012.
