Danny Kidd has wanted to get into the food business since graduating college, but he decided to wait until the perfect stage in his life. Now, back in his hometown of Louisville, Danny is excited to open <a href="https://pitapitusa.com/franchise/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-danny-kidd-of-pita-pit-11185" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pita Pit</a> in the center of the downtown business district.

Pita Pit presents an opportunity unlike other on-the-go lunch options with its fresh grilled, flavor filled customizable ingredients. Danny is excited to get started in the restaurant world and expand in the next few years throughout the state.

Elaborate on your background: 
I grew up in Southern Indiana and went to the University of Louisville. I graduated with a major in management and a minor in marketing. I moved to Jacksonville, Florida and lived there for ten years working in real estate for Fannie Mae &amp; Freddie Mac. I decided to move back to my hometown of Louisville to be near friends and family as well as fulfill my dream of business ownership in the restaurant industry.

How did you hear about Pita Pit&nbsp;and why did you choose to get involved? 
Since graduating from college, I wanted to invest with a food concept. I came across my first Pita Pit in Jacksonville, Florida&nbsp;when I was working in real estate. When I came back to Louisville, I had the funds to pursue a franchise, something I&rsquo;d been looking into since college.

Pita Pit truly has amazing product and a great corporate staff. I looked through a handful of other food concepts, but Pita Pit was really a no-brainer for me. The dynamic of the organization and their concept &ndash; it&rsquo;s positioned extremely well for people that are eating healthier.

Who will be your biggest customer with your location? 
We are centered in downtown Louisville, so I anticipate our main customer focus to be those in the business district. We expect catering to be a main order, because we are surrounded by three major hospitals, financial offices, law offices, and more. It&rsquo;s a great snack for people on the go so we expect it to be a big hit downtown.

What&rsquo;s next for you and your business? 
I do have plans to expand, but I want to be open for a year to make sure this one is running well before growing. Ideally, I&rsquo;d love to have between 3-5 locations and expand towards the university.
