Local entrepreneur John Chase is taking&nbsp;a step away from his career in financial services to bring a much-needed high quality cleaning service to the area he calls home. After 20+ years in the corporate world and raising two wonderful children, John is turning&nbsp;toward franchising with <a href="http://franchise.thecleaningauthority.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-john-chase-of-the-cleaning-authority-11045" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Cleaning Authority</a> for a new challenge.

The Cleaning Authority prides themselves on offering significant growth opportunity for their franchisees, which is something John is really excited about for his business and his employees. &nbsp;&nbsp;

What were you doing before partnering with The Cleaning Authority? 
I spent my entire career thus far in financial services. I began working for Alliance Capital in the early 90&rsquo;s as an inside wholesaler, but went on to hold positions as a National Account Manager for retirement plans and eventually became a Vice President/ Relationship Manager for their Financial Institutions &amp; Advisors Division. In 2004 I left Alliance Capital to join Columbia Management, now named Columbia Threadneedle Investments, as the Director of National Accounts, a position I held until early last year.

How did you learn about The Cleaning Authority, and what made you ultimately decide to commit? 
When I was searching for a new career path I wanted to move away from financial services and the corporate world, and towards something more entrepreneurial.&nbsp;After speaking with a career/entrepreneur coach who brought up the idea of franchising, I knew it was a great opportunity to&nbsp;utilize my strengths and business skills. &nbsp;

After speaking with TCA&rsquo;s corporate team, I immediately saw how professional and knowledgeable they were, which I admired. Additionally, their support for all the franchisees, through creative marketing efforts and mentorship, is something unique and wonderful.

Why is the Hingham and south shore area the perfect market for your Cleaning Authority business? 
?Hingham and south shore is a great location filled with many families, both young and old. My family actually moved to Hingham from New Jersey because of the great school systems and the close commute to downtown Boston. A cleaning service is always going to be attractive to this community. Although there are other cleaning services in the area, I believe the attention to detail and exceptional customer service that TCA provides is unparalleled to competitors in the region. I&rsquo;ve personally have had experiences with other cleaning services that were unsatisfactory so I believe The Cleaning Authority will do well in this area. &nbsp;

What&rsquo;s next for you and your business? 
Once we get the ball rolling we plan to participate in The Cleaning Authority Cares, a community outreach program. My family and I currently work with the Hingham Food Pantry on a weekly basis collecting leftover food from local restaurants to bring to homeless shelters so The Cleaning Authority Cares program is something right up my alley. &nbsp;&nbsp;
