Longtime Tallahassee resident Sharon Weeden has always been deeply engrained in the community, both through her personal involvement in a variety of area organizations and professionally through her career as the Presdient and CEO of a local bank.

After retiring early to help an ailing family member, Weeden began looking into investing in a business concept that would allow her to continue to serve her community. Now, she&#39;ll open a <a href="http://www.rightathomefranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-spotlight-sharon-weeden-of-right-at-home-10877" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Right At Home</a>, a business that fits well with Weeden&#39;s community involvement and management experience.

Elaborate on your background before partnering with Right At Home: 
I began my career with Tallahassee State Bank as a Branch Manager in 1991, advancing my career while at the same time advancing my education with an MBA from Florida State University.&nbsp; I became President and CEO of Tallahassee State Bank in 2006 and retired early due to a terminal illness in the family in 2015.

Throughout my career, I have invested time in the community by working with and sitting on the boards of several non-profit organizations. &nbsp;I continue to remain active in the community and am opening Right at Home* Tallahassee to build a strong and compassionate team that will directly serve the Tallahassee Senior Community.

How did you hear about the brand and why did you choose to get involved? 
I was doing research on companies that I thought would help me further my role as a servant leader within the Tallahassee community. I thought about in-home care because of my affiliation with the Elder Care Services in Tallahassee.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

What ties do you have with your local community and how do you plan to serve the community with your new business? 
Along with my professional career, I have devoted an extensive amount of time to being active within the community, working to serve and improve the lives of others.&nbsp; I have served on various boards including Elder Care Services, Volunteer Tallahassee, The United Way Board, First Presbyterian Preschool and The Tallahassee Lender&rsquo;s Consortium.&nbsp; I am a member of the Economic Club of Florida, The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and serve as an Emeritus Director for Elder Care Services.&nbsp; &nbsp;
