According to the TMZ story, Mayor London Breed announced what she calls a "defining moment" in U.S. response to the pandemic. Beginning at 12 AM, all residents within the city can only leave home for doctor's appointments or runs to the grocery store.

The curfew will last three weeks, however, the silver lining for the restaurant industry is that restaurants can remain open, but only for delivery and takeout.

This news could mean that other cities and/or states soon follow.

This is an opportunity for brands that haven’t considered this as a possibility to do so. Now is the time to prepare for what could be coming to other cities around the nation.
