Griswold Sees Strong Double-Digit Growth from Pre-Pandemic Levels and Welcomes Three New Franchisees

The brand also took home several Home Care Pulse awards thanks to its continued industry leadership and high consumer satisfaction ratings.

Griswold Home Care finished Q2 2021 with strong double-digit growth compared to pre-pandemic levels while signing new franchisees and taking home prestigious awards and honors.

“We are excited to announce the successes we’ve had from the second quarter,” said 

Michael Slupecki, CEO of Griswold. “From revenue growth to new franchisee signings, the momentum that our brand had going into this quarter continued to pay off. As we look ahead to the rest of the year, we fully expect to see that progress continue.”

A Positive Growth Story

This well-respected brand, which in 1982 became the first franchised non-medical home care company in the United States, has proved the $97 billion home healthcare industry remains a stable, recession-resistant enterprise. 

In addition to the positive revenue numbers, the system continued to grow in Q2 as well. It brought new franchisees into the system, including Katy and Spring Valley, Texas. Griswold also debuted in the Minneapolis market for the first time, with a new unit signing in Anoka County. And the franchisees couldn’t be more excited about the partnership with the brand. 

“We love the history of Griswold and their mission,” said Brett Myhre, the brand’s newest franchisee in Anoka County. “We’re excited to bring this service to an area that is quite underserved in terms of quality in-home care. Griswold is extremely innovative and has programs in place to help the customer and their family members.”

“Griswold is actually one of the first companies I came across during my research,” said Viking Dietrich, the brand’s Spring Valley franchisee. “Every time we spoke with another brand, Griswold would always come up as a tried and true option. Dr. Jean Griswold founded Griswold Home Care with the mission to provide quality care to the elderly, who often lack the assistance they need to remain living independently at home. In the second quarter of 2021, Griswold Home Care was ranked 382 in Entrepreneur’s magazine’s Franchise 500, which lists the top franchise brands. Additionally, the brand was recognized by Home Care Pulse, a research firm that surveys satisfaction on behalf of both consumers and caregivers. Leader in Excellence Award

Representing the top 15% of agencies participating in the Home Care Pulse Satisfaction Management Program, this award is based on both client and caregiver satisfaction ratings collected by Home Care Pulse in telephone interviews.

Provider of Choice Award

Several franchisee locations were also awarded the Provider of Choice, a designation based on client satisfaction telephone interviews. It is awarded to agencies in the Top 10% highest satisfaction rating. 

Employer of Choice

In a tight labor environment, it is difficult to find the best and brightest caregivers. That’s why it’s so significant that Griswold won the Best of Home Care – Employer of Choice award. It is based on caregiver satisfaction ratings that indicate Griswold is among the top home health agencies to work for.
