Home Clean Heroes Responds to Consumer Inquiries; Expands Franchise Opportunities to the Philadelphia Market
The residential cleaning business used data from its franchise development site to gain insight on which market it should expand to next.
Since its founding in Spring 2017, Home Clean Heroes has been providing customers a modern method for cleaning their homes, setting a new standard in the home-cleaning industry. Owned by Buzz Franchise Brands and based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Home Clean Heroes offers simple scheduling methods, trustworthy and professional employees and personalized cleaning packages.
Its high level of customer satisfaction has allowed the brand to service hundreds of households in the Virginia Beach area, thereby solidifying its position to compete as a major player in the industry.
Home Clean Heroes has recently expanded into the Texas market, bringing its expertise to Austin’s family-centric communities. The brand sees potential for up to six territories in the greater Austin metropolitan area.
Further solidifying the brand as a major industry player is its decision to also expand into the Philadelphia market.
After analyzing data from its franchise development website, Home Clean Heroes decided to bring its professional home-cleaning services to The City of Brotherly Love.
“Honestly, it was the interest in the brand from the Philadelphia market that made us take notice and focus on Philadelphia as a key development target,” said Home Clean Heroes’ Director of Marketing Kathy Turley. “Between traffic to both our corporate consumer site as well as our franchise development site, combined with organic franchise development leads all coming from the area, I think it’s safe to say Philly was interested in us before we were interested in it.”
According to Turley, in the state of Pennsylvania, there are over 100 “maid” franchise locations, as well as countless independents.
However, this particular market presents a great opportunity for the brand; whereas many of the other major players in the area are sold out or nearly sold out, Home Clean Heroes has open market availability, according to data from the brand’s franchise development website.
Additionally, what also poises the brand to perform well in new markets is it’s “Heroes” method of doing business. Forget the outdated “maid” service concept—Home Clean Heroes provides its franchisees a way to be the heroes of its customers’ homes, with a company-wide mission to defend customers free time, allowing them to focus on other aspects of their lives.
Currently, the brand is actively looking for new franchisee owners in the Philadelphia area. “We pride ourselves on having a turnkey training and opening process, which allows us to aim to have a new franchisee opening within 60 days of graduation from our training program,” said Turley.
Home Clean Heroes assigns territories based on a rough estimate of 35,000 to 45,000 households, which is another reason that makes Philadelphia a textbook candidate for the brand’s expansion. Turley identifies a market capacity of up to 12 territories across the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area, with the most dense territory around the West Chester area.
Each franchisee who signs with the brand will open their first territory with a minimum of four cleaners, plus an office manager, should the franchisee opt not to not fill that role themselves, noted Turley.
The speed with which additional staff are brought on will depend on how quickly the business scales, she added.
Further elevating the brand as a standout from the crowd is its Charter League Program. Home Clean Heroes provides benefits and opportunities for those franchisees who are one of the first five people to sign with the brand. Becoming a Charter League member reduces the franchise fee for their first territory by $20,000 according to Turley. “That’s a meaningful number that will help people in the early-adopter mentality,” she said. “Our franchisees also receive in-depth coaching from our team.”
“It’s in our best interest to help franchisees in every step of the way,” added Turley.
Looking to the future, Home Clean Heroes shows no signs of abating in terms of growth and development. The brand offers an ideal opportunity for prospective franchisees to become the “Heroes” in their communities and is continuing to bring that option to more and more markets nationwide.
The startup costs for a Home Clean Heroes franchise range from $78,295 to $132,588, which includes a $30,000 franchise fee (reduced to $10,000 for Charter League members). To learn more about franchising with Home Clean Heroes, visit https://homecleanheroes.com/franchise-opportunity/.
