WTKR: Home Clean Heroes’ Top Tips for Spring Cleaning
Norfolk’s Home Clean Heroes spoke to WTKR on how to keep your home clean during spring.

Kathy Turley, marketing director for residential cleaning franchise Home Clean Heroes, spoke with WTKR, the CBS Affiliate in Norfolk, on tips for spring cleaning. Turley walked through some of the hardest-to-reach places and the best ways to clean those spaces throughout the home. She also explained the importance of maintaining the home all year rather than just during spring cleaning and how services like Home Clean Heroes can help.
“We believe a regular clean is the best way to combat it,” said Turley. “Generally, you want to do a deep clean a few times a year. Spring cleaning tends to be when people do it. People also tend to do it again in the fall. We recommend probably about three to four times a year for a good deep clean.”
Turley also told WTKR she recommends starting upstairs and moving down throughout the home, and the biggest mistake people make is backtracking throughout the house.
