Doug and Tyler Butler, the franchisees behind HomeTeam Inspection Service of the Space Coast, are carrying on the tradition of family business ownership. Doug, who previously worked with his father in business, is now working with his own son.

“I think that definitely deepened our bond, me being able to teach him some things. We’re trying to expand it even a little bit more into the family, and see if my wife will eventually be part of the business,” Doug told Hometown News. “I never did think that I would go into business with Tyler, because he was doing photography, and he was off doing his own thing. But it’s definitely been rewarding to be able to have him.”

Tyler’s background in photography helped him to develop a keen eye for detail — something that has been especially helpful when completing home inspections.
