It will take more than just small bursts of motivation.”<h4>President Adam Long Reminded Owners of the Franchisor’s Commitment to the Network</h4>In one of his speeches, Long touched heavily on the difference between motivation and consistency. Referencing a book he recently read, titled&nbsp;Into Thin Air, he also discussed the nature of business-building — slow and steady.“While our convention weekend included a lot of motivation, we also wanted franchisees to take away the idea that consistency is just as important,” he explained. “All franchise owners in attendance had seen success for a sustained period of time, and it is important to recognize and celebrate the consistent efforts that led to these outcomes.”The rewards of building a successful HomeTeam business are quite clear, as demonstrated by the countless business people who attended the convention. In addition to reaffirming its commitment to the owners, the franchisor worked to illustrate the long-term journey that accompanies business ownership.&nbsp;“Like climbing Mt. Everest, building a business is a process,” Long said. “And it is likewise&nbsp; laden with complicated logistics, uncertain schedules and measurable risks. But, just like climbing the tallest mountain in the world, the rewards of building a successful business are immeasurable.”<h4>HomeTeam Celebrated Franchisees for Their Successes</h4>Through this continued commitment, and franchisees’ willingness to remain committed to their vision rather than clinging to sometimes-fleeting spurts of motivation, many successful business owners are developed. At its 2023 convention, HomeTeam presented a range of awards to celebrate the successes of the network in 2022.Numerous franchise owners were recognized for reaching or exceeding the 500 inspection mark in 2022. Additional franchisees exceeded 1,000 inspections, with some even surpassing the 1,500 and 2,000 marks. Not only did he conduct the most inspections of the system, but he did so, at times, in six feet of snow, negative-15-degree weather and on nights and weekends. One time, he even chartered a plane to fly to an inspection.
