How a JDog Business Has Supported the Moores in Building a Life They Love
Jon and Kathy Moore had discussed entrepreneurship for years. After retiring from the Navy and discovering JDog, Jon felt it was the perfect fit for him and his family.
Jon and Kathy Moore, who have been JDog Junk Removal & Hauling owners in San Diego for 5 years, came to JDog after multiple conversations about business ownership. When Jon realized a Veteran-centric business model was available to him, it just felt right.
Now, the pair uses their JDog ownership to build a life they love while benefiting their community through hiring, mentorship, volunteering and more.
“My why is my family, my wife, my two girls, my mom — she stays with us,” Jon said. “To me, this business is what is giving them everything they want and setting up the future for them. I’m one of those people that don’t have to work, and I choose to because of my ‘why.’”
