I thought it was a really turnkey organization that gave me the ability to start a new business with all the systems, software, and training already in place.”&nbsp;At the time Reinhardt was introduced to PMI, the franchise was only three years old, but already had an impressive track record. Reinhardt got on a call with&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeremiahcundiff/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=how-nicole-reinhardt-found-personal-and-professional-fulfillment-through-property-management-inc-2721413" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Jeremiah Cundiff</a>, now COO at PMI, who connected her with CEO, Co-founder, and President&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-hart-30aa2a5/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=how-nicole-reinhardt-found-personal-and-professional-fulfillment-through-property-management-inc-2721413" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Steve Hart</a>–and the rest is history. Reinhardt signed on and opened the doors of her Colorado Springs location in January of 2014.Since then, Reinhardt has opened four franchises, two in Colorado and two in Florida in the Tampa and Panama City regions. Not only has she grown her franchise business, but the entrepreneur now serves as a regional mentor for PMI.&nbsp;“I started as a regional mentor about four years ago when the program was pretty new,” she recalls. “They thought that since I was a brand new franchisee coming into PMI, without any property management background, that I would be a good fit for the group. The rest of the regional mentors had been doing property management in their own businesses for a while, so I was their homegrown success story.”&nbsp;At PMI, the role of a regional mentor is to help guide other franchises to develop their business so that they can continue to grow. Being in the system for about four years before she started in her role, Reinhardt was able to provide other owners with priceless information and advice. And, since starting, her reach has extended well beyond the state of Colorado. “I get so many other calls from around the country,” she says.&nbsp;The regional mentor program is part of the training and support that PMI franchise owners can expect. Not only does PMI have a fully equipped corporate support team to back up every franchisee, but the brand has also fostered an environment where Franchisees understand that if a PMI franchise across town is doing well, then the brand is doing well.&nbsp;Reinhardt felt this support during her own process. “When I first started management, I really didn't know anything about being a landlord for someone else,” she says. “The franchise really was able to be that backbone to help educate me and provide me with the tools to be able to then pass on to my owners and my tenants. I definitely wouldn't be as successful as I am today without the franchise. They really ingrained and taught me where to put my marketing money, where to put my time and effort, and basically set up my company. I really attribute my success to being part of the franchise–they do a lot of the heavy lifting.”&nbsp;In addition to corporate support, PMI supports its franchisees by providing solutions across four pillars of property management: residential, commercial, association and short-term rental. This revenue-generating model brings in multiple streams of income for owners, a perk that the hundreds of existing franchisees realize every day.&nbsp;For Reinhardt, the experience has been nothing but rewarding. “I love to teach and I love to help other people with problem shooting or working through an issue or a question,” she says. “I really like to problem solve with them. And so it's very fulfilling for me to be able to help someone, give them opinions, and give them best practices of what the franchise really wants to see.
