The waste disposal franchise is introducing technological advantages to make service easier for franchisees and customers.

VaVia, 12-unit small-haul waste disposal franchise, is setting out to disrupt the waste industry with innovative technology-driven service. The brand is determined to stand out in the segment with its efficient and smart data-driven approach. In a category that is traditionally not as tech-savvy, VaVia is ready to change that.
The franchise’s model is designed to satisfy an unfulfilled need for tech-forward convenience and professionalism in the waste removal segment. VaVia has implemented a number of softwares that streamline operations on both the owner and consumer sides.
Franchise owners with VaVia have a bevy of tools at their disposal to help with business management. The company uses Quickbooks for bookkeeping, CallTrackingMetrics to view the effectiveness of its marketing campaigns, Asana project management tool to track onboarding activities, and Birdeye review management tool, to ensure the brand receives as many 5 star reviews as possible. Vavia also uses Google for email and file drives; Front for email, phone and text management; and AirCall as a cloud phone provider.
There are also a number of tracking systems to ensure that operations are running smoothly and that everything is going as planned. The company uses Motive dash cams and electronic logging devices for its trucks, and VaVia’s proprietary, custom cloud-based technology called CanTrack. With CanTrack, franchisees can see where all the trucks are and which drivers are on what jobs, as well as track the locations of containers.
Many businesses in the waste removal industry do things with old-fashioned administrative practices. But by using electronic logging and tracking, VaVia is able to save time, money and manpower. Waste 360 reports that telematics technology can increase driver productivity by more than 12%.
“As a tech-driven brand, we hope to be a leader in this industry in terms of efficiency. VaVia is committed to providing streamlined resources that help make franchise owners’ tasks easier and therefore allow them to offer a premium level of service to every customer,” said Phillip Nappi, president and co-founder.
The total cost to invest in VaVia ranges from $121,693 to $419,323 per territory. To learn more about franchising with VaVia, visit: https://www.govavia.com/franchise-with-us/
