Eddie Curry takes the reins after a decade as vice president, CFO.
Premium Franchise Brands LLC, the parent company of JAN-PRO and Maid Right, is pleased to announce Eddie Curry as its new president and chief executive officer. Curry, an experienced franchise industry executive, has served as vice president and chief financial officer for the brand for the last decade.
Prior to joining the brand in 2005, Curry built valuable franchise experience, serving for more than 16 years as vice president and director of treasury for RTM restaurant group, the operator of more than 900 Arby’s Restaurants and other restaurant franchises. Now, Curry’s sights are set on expanding into new markets with JAN-PRO and on a rapid nationwide expansion for Maid Right, Premium Franchise Brand’s residential cleaning brand.
“We’re in nearly every major North American city right now with JAN-PRO,” Curry noted. “But, we have a robust new development initiative now underway around the globe. With our revenues more than tripling over the past 15 years, we expect another big year in 2016, reflecting yet another year of double digit growth.”
Richard Kissane, who will transition from president and CEO to executive chairman of Premium Franchise Brands, applauded the promotion of Curry to help lead the rapidly growing brand into its next successful chapter.
“Eddie has a fantastic track record with our brand and will bring strong leadership and smart choices to help JAN-PRO and Maid Right continue to grow in the coming years,” he said. “I’m honored to have served as president and CEO and excited to move into this new strategic role with the company.”
Kissane, who boasts more than 30 years of senior management experience leading and building a variety of successful franchising companies, has served as president and CEO of JAN-PRO Franchising International since 2005, and held the same responsibilities for Premium Franchise Brands. Under Kissane’s leadership, the brand has earned a wide variety of honors, including the coveted Number 1 global ranking for commercial cleaners in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2015 “Franchise 500.”
“Rich Kissane’s leadership has positioned our brand for the future,” Curry said. “And, it’s a future that is poised for quick growth. We are now using the most advanced systems in the industry and innovative tools to reach and serve our customers in the best possible ways, and push our franchisees to new heights. The way we find customers is changing because of the commitment we’ve made to modernization, mobile and digital marketing. With some of the most advanced tools and technologies in the industry, we can reach and serve our customers, helping our franchisees to grow their businesses while retaining existing customers.”
JAN-PRO and Maid Right are also focused on serving the unique needs of its franchisees, Curry said, and he is proud to help make dreams of business ownership come true.
“We are passionate about helping driven entrepreneurs start and grow their business. Everything we do revolves around that. And, while it’s extremely exciting to be part of this new chapter for our brand, that focus on our owners will never change,” said Curry. “This is a great group of people with a passion for success. Working closely with Rich for the last 10 years has given me invaluable insight into his vision for future success. JAN-PRO and Maid Right are perfectly positioned for a bright future, and I’m thrilled to lead the charge toward it.”
JAN-PRO and Maid Right are focused on both international and domestic growth in 2016, and are currently seeking driven master regional franchisee candidates in key growth markets, including West Texas, Upstate New York, Alaska, and Hawaii. Unit franchise opportunities are also available in every market across the United States.
