As the daughter of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/joshua-malik-5127b31b/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=madison-malik-is-taking-joshua-tree-experts-to-the-next-level-with-grassroots-marketing-and-a-lot-of-brand-loyalty-2719946" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Joshua Malik</a>,&nbsp;Founder and CEO of the company, she has seen the company grow from its inception into the emerging franchise it is today. “I have a lot of brand loyalty,” Malik said with a laugh.&nbsp;Malik moved from the sidelines into the game when she accepted a customer service role three and a half years ago. Today, she’s the director of sales and marketing and has played an integral role in making Joshua Tree Experts a household name.“There was an open position for the marketing role, and I have a really creative mind and background,” she said. “So, then I was able to step into that position when it opened up, and I've been doing that role for about two years now.”In her role, Malik has been a part of using marketing campaigns to help&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/joshuatreeexperts">Joshua Tree</a> with its return on investments, saying that the company has “seen great ROI.” She also plays a large part in brainstorming out of the box campaigns that the company has not implemented before.&nbsp;For example, knowing the importance of grassroots marketing for any business, Malik inked a sponsorship with Lehigh Valley minor league baseball team, The IronPigs. Additionally, she initiated Every Door Direct Mail campaigns, which&nbsp;include sending out postcards and 8x11 mailer sheets to specific target audiences that match the client profile.&nbsp;Day to day, Malik starts her morning by coming in and interacting with the sales team to prepare them for the day ahead, but what really excites her is the time she spends market researching and coming up with new ways the company can provide insights to future franchisees who join the system.&nbsp;Malik has had a front row seat to the growth of this company, that as of July had posted 20% revenue increase year over year. The evolution of the company started with just tree care but now offers lawn care and pest control services. “Launching pest control was really a pivotal moment for us, and it showed after we gained 1,000 clients in our first year.”Malik has several goals for her position at the company. As the brand starts to expand its footprint in the US through franchising this year, her focus is making sure they are set up for success from the time they arrive at training. Franchisees who sign on with Joshua Tree Experts will find a wealth of support and experience in any department. The leadership team behind Joshua Tree Experts has nearly two decades of experience, and the emerging brand already has five units in operation and over 60 staff members.&nbsp;When it comes to signing its first franchisees, the goal is to find candidates who are ready for a life change and are able to follow a proven business model.“I am really excited to be able to showcase all of our hard work to candidates as they come through Discovery Day and eventually training,” she said. “I have built an entire library with brochures, yard signs and vehicle designs that we'll be able to provide the franchisees with. The whole purpose of this is to make this as turnkey as possible.”In the short term, Malik hopes to focus on the corporate side and continue to find different areas to market that will help the company grow and reach its budgeting goals.Malik said Joshua Tree Experts is looking to sell five franchises in 2022 and is targeting its home state of Pennsylvania and nearby East Coast states first.
