According to Jay Hummer, Kennedy&#8217;s CEO, coming to their barbershop is more than just a haircut&#8212;the experience begins the moment a customer walks in the door. &#8220;The brand was created with a membership plan in mind because it creates a community of like-minded people who might not otherwise have a go-to place. Members can come in and shoot pool or drink a beer&#8212;this is an experience for someone who wants to treat themselves to a relaxing environment,&#8221; he said. By offering a high-quality grooming experience, each person who visits Kennedy&#8217;s can also relax by knowing that they&#8217;re in good hands. The brand&#8217;s stylists are all heavily vetted with intensive training, developing and testing prior to working the floor. According to Manfro, the brand&#8217;s reputation is so widely respected, stylists are eager to work at his locations. &#8220;A lot of people want to work here.
