MIAMI, Fla. — KLA Schools reported a strong start in 2025, earning new school awards and focusing on innovation that connects with both parents and educators.

So far this year, KLA Schools has awarded two new territories: one in Fort Mill, South Carolina and another in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The franchise is on track to reach its goal of four to six new franchise agreements by year-end. President, CEO and Founder Roberto Ortega attributes this success to both a steady influx of well-qualified leads and interest from current franchisees who are eager to grow within the system.

“In 2025, we've seen growth in franchises awarded and schools opening,” Ortega said. “Our digital marketing efforts are generating a high volume of quality leads, and existing franchisees are also looking to expand, both of which are driving significant traction for us.”

While South Florida remains a cornerstone for the brand, KLA Schools is looking to grow in other Florida metros like Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville. It is also looking to deepen its presence in major Texas markets, including Dallas, Austin and Houston. Additionally, KLA is exploring new markets such as Utah and Arizona, where demographic trends like population growth and larger family sizes suggest rising demand for quality early education.

Supporting this growth is an ongoing dedication to educational innovation. As younger generations of parents seek more modern and engaging learning environments, KLA’s blend of purpose-driven instruction and beautifully designed school environments is proving to be a key differentiator.

“That's the beauty of our educational program — the innovative nature of it and the fact that we put a lot of emphasis on making sure children learn what they need to learn at the end of the school year,” Ortega said. “But we do it in a way that’s not only academically challenging, but also fun and entertaining for them to keep them engaged.”

KLA Schools also continues to set itself apart through its strong company culture. With Ortega still actively involved in school operations and franchisee support, the system fosters a sense of family and partnership that extends from the home office to every classroom.

“The culture you see in our headquarters is the same one we want in every school and every franchise relationship,” Ortega said. “It's a very family-oriented environment and approach.”

As 2025 continues, KLA Schools remains focused on thoughtful, sustainable expansion, choosing quality over speed and supporting each franchisee with the resources and mentorship they need to succeed.
