Entrepreneur released its annual Franchise 500 list for 2020, and Lawn Doctor cracked the top 100 ranking at number 52. For more than four decades, Entrepreneur has been releasing yearly franchise reports from extensive research that rank the top 500 for the upcoming year. Lawn Doctor’s ranking this year, as well as its ranking as #1 in its category, is due to its outstanding performance in areas including unit growth, financial strength and stability, and brand power.

Entrepreneur creates its annual list by looking at the cost & fees, size & growth, support, brand strength and financial strength & stability of franchise brands that apply. These factors are then broken down into more than 150 data points per brand, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores create the list.
