Lightbridge Academy® Exhibiting at The Franchise Show in Philadelphia on March 25th and 26th
The fast-growing early education and child care center is expanding throughout the state of Pennsylvania in 2022.
Lightbridge Academy, the Innovators in Early Educational Child Care® with more than 60 open locations and 65 additional franchises sold or in development across the U.S., will be exhibiting at The Franchise Show in Philadelphia on March 25th and 26th.
The franchise show will extend the brand’s local growth plans, which include awarding between five and 10 franchise agreements in Pennsylvania throughout 2022, with each new location creating around 25 to 30 jobs.
Lightbridge Academy Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales Jim DiRugeris will be attending the show and meeting with prospective franchisees at the Philadelphia Convention Center.
“The Philadelphia Franchise Show is an integral event in our expansion into the state of Pennsylvania,” said the brand’s CEO Gigi Schweikert. “We look forward to networking with like-minded people who value early education, share our values and seek a leading, national brand to add value to their community as The Solution for Working Parents®.”
DiRugeris says the brand’s development plans in Pennsylvania are partly a result of the state’s rapid residential growth in recent years.
“Our current franchisees have really driven the growth of the brand in Philadelphia, and many have decided to take on additional units based on the success of their first schools,” said DiRugeris. “We know the markets in Pennsylvania and a lot of the communities there are underserved. We are building on this momentum by providing a high quality early education and child care option in Pennsylvania communities.”
Schweikert says Lightbridge Academy goes beyond offering a solid early education curriculum and care for children by supporting parents through a suite of industry-leading technology solutions including ParentView® Internet Monitoring, a parent eCommunication app, and state-of-the-art facial recognition entry and security systems.
Dirugeris says Lightbridge Academy participates in franchise shows around the country to raise awareness about the brand’s unique offering and connect with as many potential franchisees as possible to support the brand’s growth.
“We spend the time meeting with people face to face,” said DiRugeris. “Some know the type of business they want and are looking to meet franchisors in a specific industry, and others are just beginning to explore. They know they want to be in business for themselves but haven’t yet discovered what that is. Those are the people we enjoy talking to the most. Some just know they want to make a difference and through our conversations, they realize educational child care is a high demand industry that is incredibly rewarding, with great work/life balance and room for growth.”
