Georgia’s first IDEA Lab Kids opened in November of 2019, offering children ages four to 14 STEAM-based after school programming.
According to Atlanta Business Radio, Husband-and-wife team, Toqeer and Haydne Chouhan, recently opened Georgia’s first IDEA Lab Kids in Smyrna. IDEA Lab Kids offers more than 50 uniquely integrated science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) courses designed to inspire and engage children from ages 4 to 14. Toqeer and Haydne were impressed by the STEAM-based education franchise and seized the opportunity to bring the first IDEA Lab Kids to the state of Georgia.
“We’re looking forward to bringing STEAM based education to the state of Georgia through IDEA Lab Kids’ after school activities and camps,” Toqeer told Atlanta Business Radio. “We have all sorts of programming that we will bring to the local community. We are looking forward to bringing this supplemental tool to the local area here to help develop young minds.”
The couple signed on to open eight Georgia locations over the next five years and hope to expand to the cities of Marietta, Roswell or Decatur in the future.
