While speaking with Canada’s Podcast, IDEA Lab Kids area developers Ahsan Raza and Kumail Meghani discussed the brand’s expansion into the Greater Toronto area with President and Co-owner Devina Bhojwani. IDEA Lab Kids was founded as a way for kids to explore their love of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Raza and Meghani decided to bring the brand to their local community after realizing that there was a need for hands-on supplemental education, especially in the sciences.
Raza and Meghani bought the rights to become IDEA Lab Kids area developers for the entire Greater Toronto area and have sold two locations that are currently open and two other locations scheduled to open later this year. The brand, which focuses on kids ages 4–14, can bring an additional 15 locations to the market.
With its cutting-edge curriculum, state-of-the-art technology and franchisee support, IDEA Lab Kids has positioned itself to become a leader in the supplemental education industry. In the past three years, the brand has signed on 95-plus locations, with 25 of these currently operating.
