In a recent interview with the San Antonio Business Journal, Devina Bhojwani, president of IDEA Lab Kids, discussed the triumphant year of growth the brand was able to see in 2020 despite the global pandemic. IDEA Lab Kids, the industry leader in STEAM education for children between 4 and 14, was classified as an essential business early on in 2020, which has positioned the brand to expand throughout Texas with a focus on San Antonio.

Bhojwani discussed how IDEA Lab Kids focused on investing in technology for franchisees to help train staff remotely and how the company, which has grown three times larger in 2020, focused on finding a new private investor, Cynthia Tusan.

"She brings with her a strong passion in developing the leaders of tomorrow and scaling our program on a worldwide basis," Bhowani said, adding that Tusan wants to grow the reach of their programs "beyond the four walls of our franchise centers."

IDEA Lab Kids began franchising in 2017. In the past three years, the brand has assigned 95+ new locations, with 25 currently operating. The brand plans to bring three locations to the San Antonio market.
