The smoothie and cold-pressed fruit juice franchise is targeting the east coast hub for expansion as it embarks on its plans to cross the 100-unit mark by 2025.

Main Squeeze Juice Co., a 28-unit juice bar and smoothie chain, is bringing its innovative, one-of-a-kind, fresh menu to Atlanta, Georgia.

It’s no secret that smoothie and fruit juice chains have been booming over the last decade. And as the only juice bar that offers fresh, cold-pressed juice, Main Squeeze Juice Co. is giving franchisees in the market the chance to provide their communities with the highest quality products available.

“If you want to be somebody that changes the world through healthy, clean, plant based eating, then this is absolutely the concept for you,” said Senior Director of Development Jessie Wiliams.

The $800 billion health and wellness industry is one of the fastest-growing categories in the franchising industry, and Main Squeeze Juice Co. is dominating the juice bar industry everywhere it operates. With a goal of opening 40 new locations in 2023, Main Squeeze Juice Co. is rapidly expanding across the U.S., and sees Atlanta as the perfect place to expand due to factors such as population, business opportunities and its influx of travelers.

“Atlanta is really the hub of the southern half of the Northeast,” said Williams. “It is also perfectly segmented from an area perspective and it just makes a lot of sense to franchise there. Plus, the population is super dense.”

The booming east coast market is also seeing year-over-year population growth. In 2022, it was reported that Metro Atlanta added 64,940 new residents in the span of a year, or 1.3%, increasing the region's 11-county population to 5.1 million. Each of the metro’s counties saw population increases during the timeframe, with Gwinnett seeing the highest increase—adding 13,460 new residents alone.

Additionally, Atlanta recently ranked as one of the best large cities to start a new business. WalletHub analysts said that Atlanta still carries a lot of traditional factors that are important to businesses deciding where to start their operations, such as space being more affordable than many other bigger cities on the east coast, as well as proximity to higher education institutions.

Main Squeeze Juice Co. franchisees opening in Atlanta—and everywhere else—are well positioned for success. The brand’s dietitian-designed, superfood-inspired menu includes proprietary recipes that focus on combining nutritious and delicious ingredients. The selection of fresh and raw cold-pressed juices is made daily with 2-4 pounds of produce in each bottle, which is never pasteurized or HPP'd, and the superfood smoothies are made with whole fruits and vegetables: no ice, fillers or syrups. The menu also includes several acai and pitaya bowl options.

While customers enjoy these products, the brand is dedicated to making sure they have a great experience from start to finish. “Aside from having amazing products and an amazing brand, we have so many areas that benefit the customer experience,” said Williams. “We have an entire process from the time that a customer walks into the store to how that flow should work. And we dedicate ourselves to making sure that the customer gets to have an amazing experience.”

In fact, the brand has designated software in order to get real time feedback from customers. “In the event that somebody lets us know they didn’t have a great experience, we can then turn and go straight to the store and find out exactly like what happened and figure out how we can make sure that this doesn't happen again,” Williams added.

For prospective franchisees in the Atlanta area looking to make healthy easy in their communities, there are wide-open opportunities. The franchise is looking to open 27 units in the market, and because there aren’t currently any stores open in Atlanta, owners have the chance to give local consumers their first taste of Main Squeeze Juice Co.

“We have cultivated an incredible team here, including our franchisees,” said Thomas Nieto, CEO. “We all believe in the brand and I think that when you have genuine passion, even a small group of people can change the world, and they're always going to outperform everybody else.”

The initial investment associated with opening a Main Squeeze Juice Company store will range from $385,050 to $682,750. For more information on franchising with the brand, visit https://www.mainsqueezefranchise.com/.
