Daryl Lund opened a new Minuteman Press franchise in Chehalis, Washington in October of 2023. The business is located in the Lewis County Mall at 151 NE Hampe Way, B3-1, Chehalis, WA 98532. Daryl is a longtime resident of Chehalis and is City Council Mayor Pro Tem. He also previously owned the Chehalis Theater, Cinema 3, and The Star Tavern. Daryl shares, “I became interested in Minuteman Press after I saw what the franchise could do and all of the support they could provide.”

Daryl adds, “One of the factors that makes owning this business so enjoyable to run is that fact that I have the freedom to run my business while also having the backup from Minuteman Press. My RVP Chris Jutt and the local team is here to help whenever I need them. I also appreciate all of the people at the corporate office who support us and ensure we are successful.”

On Dec. 12, 2023, Daryl and his team celebrated his grand opening sponsored by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce. Leading up to the event, Daryl assured customers that Minuteman Press in Chehalis could produce “anything printed on paper” including digital printing (booklets, posters, business cards) and wide format printing. He also noted how Minuteman Press in Chehalis goes beyond paper products and provides promotional items, apparel, hats, pens, and more.

At the event, Daryl and his team encouraged attendees to bring a photo so Minuteman Press could demonstrate wide-format printing capabilities. They could choose an image from their smartphones and email it during the grand opening or bring a photo on a thumb drive. There was also a staff meet and greet and additional product samples provided.

Chehalis Fire Dept. Receives Print Donation for a Great Cause

In January of 2024, Minuteman Press in Chehalis designed, printed, and donated custom blood pressure cards to the Chehalis Fire Dept. The cards are given to people who visit the Fire Dept. to get their blood pressure checked and then kept and reused to monitor blood pressure over time. 

On donating the cards, Daryl shares, “As a former volunteer Chehalis firefighter, I know the importance of the services they provide such as tracking blood pressure. Following the pandemic, they needed new blood cards and it was a privilege to be able to create and provide them to the dept. and the community.”

In a Facebook post to their nearly 2,000 followers, the Chehalis Fire Dept. shouted out Minuteman Press, saying, “We would like to give a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU, to Minuteman Press Chehalis, for not only creating our Blood pressure cards but Donating them to us! These cards will be given to those who come in wanting their pressure checked, and we can now see the progress of your pressure every time you come back! Thank you, Mr. Lund and Minuteman Press in Chehalis, for supporting our mission of protect and serve the community of Chehalis and those around us.”
