<a href="http://mooyahfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=mooyah-to-add-20-franchise-locations-in-north-carolina-875" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">MOOYAH Burgers, Fries &amp; Shakes</a>, a fast-casual &#8220;better burger&#8221; brand, announced a focused growth plan targeting North Carolina. The quickly expanding chain, through the leadership of local development agent John Ficara, will add between 20 and 30 jobs per location throughout North Carolina as the development plan is met over the next 10 years.

&#8220;When evaluating all the franchise opportunities available, I fell in love with MOOYAH because of its strong brand, food quality and experienced management team,&#8221; Ficara said. &#8220;I think many of our new neighbors will see the same things in MOOYAH that I do, as our product quality and customer experience will set us apart and lead us to the top of a very competitive market.&#8221;

MOOYAH initially is focused on opening a flagship location in the Charlotte market, prior to expanding throughout surrounding areas. This development strategy was first established in the Dallas market, where MOOYAH boasts 24 locations. The brand&#8217;s plans call for 20 locations in the Tar Heel State over the next decade.

Ficara, who relocated from Virginia to be the company&#8217;s first development agent in North Carolina, is set to open MOOYAH&#8217;s flagship location in the Charlotte market in December. From there, Ficara plans to expand next in the competitive Raleigh market.

&#8220;Paired with our strong North American growth, including our recent 65th restaurant opening milestone in the United States, strong and targeted individual market development is increasingly a large part of our strategic expansion plans,&#8221; said Michael Mabry, chief operating officer of MOOYAH Burgers, Fries &amp; Shakes. &#8220;Through the local developer John Ficara, we have the ability to penetrate a market with someone embedded within the local business community.&#8221;

MOOYAH saw tremendous growth in the last several years, expanding from a Texas brand into an emerging national player and leader in the growing better-burger segment of fast casual. The brand currently has 65 restaurants in 16 states and plans to open 10 more by the end of the year, bringing the system to 75 overall in the United States. In 2015, MOOYAH aims to end the year with 100 restaurants across the country.

Rich Hicks, MOOYAH&#8217;s co-founder and chief executive, said the chain&#8217;s focus on the highest standards of execution of its straightforward, high-quality menu has been key to its success.

&#8220;As our brand continues to evolve,&#8221; Hicks said, &#8220;we are committed to keeping it simple, while still relevant, in order to appeal to guests&#8217; individual tastes and favorites.&#8221;
