My Favorite Muffin has been around for more than three decades thanks to father-son founders Michael and Brian Evans. What started out as just a muffin concept has now evolved into a bakery and café. Their muffins are currently being sold at Big Apple Bagels in Lutz, about a 20-minute drive to Tampa, and based on the success there, the team wants to expand in the area.

With the Tampa Bay area already being a tested and successful market, Brian Evans says, “We’re excited to capitalize on our plans to bring these franchise and job opportunities to the residents of Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.” The goal is to have three My Favorite Muffin locations in the area within the next two years. Each location would bring 12 new jobs to Tampa.

The brand is a tried and true concept that is being driven by new tech integrations and innovations. The duo is “currently looking to find qualified franchise partners to work with us in areas such as St. Petersburg, Pinellas park, Clearwater, Temple Terrace, and Lakeland,” states Brian.
