Nikita Hair Prepares to Open First Texas Salon SOON!
The European franchise has been focusing on expanding in the United States.
Nikita Hair, a 150-plus-unit international salon franchise, will soon be bringing its high-quality services to Texas, with a location opening in Frisco in late September/early October. The brand, which has recently expanded to the United States, is excited to partner with franchisees Alex Farina and Dr. Laurie Rilling to open the new salon in a dynamic market.
Their salon will be at 13030 Preston Road in Frisco, a major north-south thoroughfare that connects Dallas to its northern suburbs.
“Frisco is a really thriving community. It’s growing, it’s diverse, and there are a lot of professionals. The potential for growth in this area is just unbelievable. There are so many people moving here,” said Farina, a seasoned hairstylist. “It’s an exciting place to be doing business.”
Rilling called it a “top growth area of the country right now,” citing the PGA headquarters and a new University of North Texas campus being built near their new Nikita Hair salon. It’s also right down the street from the North Platinum Corridor, which features the Dallas Cowboys practice facility and many mixed-use retail areas.
“This is where all the growth is. Everything's moving north, basically, so we thought it would be a great location,” she said. “We like the plaza as well; there's a cool new local coffee franchise called Sweetwaters, and there's a wax shop that just moved in next door.”
Construction started on the brand-new building in May, and Nikita has been very helpful and communicative with them throughout the buildout and pre-opening process, Farina and Rilling said.
“We've had the opportunity to work with Keymark for our furnishings, and the salon design is absolutely gorgeous. We were able to customize it a little bit to what I felt was a place for stylists to feel comfortable,” added Farina.
There will be ten stations at the salon, and the two are looking forward to hiring a great team of talented stylists. The Nikita Hair team helped to start the salon’s Instagram presence and promote the fact that they are hiring.
“Luckily, we have had a strong support system with Nikita. They have been very insightful and given really good guidance and some great ideas for marketing. Right now, our philosophy is to focus on the community and getting involved with all that’s going on here,” said Farina.
Besides a partnership with the Miss Texas organization, they have been busy forming relationships with local publications in the Frisco area that advertise businesses and connecting with the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. Farina and Rilling are excited to open their doors.
The total investment necessary to franchise with Nikita Hair ranges from $189,500–$297,800, including a $43,500 franchise fee. For more information on the Nikita Hair franchise opportunity, visit https://nikitahair.com/nikita-hair-franchise/.
