NRN Spotlights Collision of Fine Dining and Fast Food
Contemporary consumers crave the highest quality.
Nation’s Restaurant News, in association with WD Partners, recently unveiled its Top 25 Consumer Picks list. Companies that made the cut in terms of customer preference and brand strength were varied, from Chick-fil-A to Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
However, one attribute all the brands shared was a trend toward higher quality.
“Consumers had a clear preference for brands that offer high-quality food that’s thoughtfully sourced and prepared – even in a limited-service setting,” NRN stated in an accompanying release.
While NRN reported that Millennials were most concerned with atmosphere, craveability and likelihood to recommend, and Baby Boomers were focused on cleanliness, service, value and menu variety, all diners had food quality as a top concern regardless of age.
