Olympus Partners Acquires Excel Fitness Holdings

Planet Fitness franchisee, Excel Fitness Holdings, has officially been acquired by Olympus Partners.

In a press release, CJ Bouchard, CEO of Excel, said, "Our team is extremely excited to partner with the Olympus team as we continue growing our business, building communities through fitness and bringing the Judgement Free Zone to new members."

The fitness franchise is known for creating a welcoming environment for gym goers of all ability levels, working to serve the large percentage of people who have either never belonged to a gym or find traditional gyms intimidating.

Now, with the backing of Olympus, Excel intends to expand its footprint, operating over 100 locations by the end of 2022.
