In a recent interview with Franchise Marketing Radio, Paris Baguette’s Chief Development Officer, Mark Mele, said the bakery cafe brand with nearly 90 U.S. locations had a strong start to 2021. Mele said Paris Baguette signed more franchise agreements in the first three months of the year compared to all of last year. But they’re not planning to slow down. Mele explained how they’re looking to grow not only on the east and west coasts where Paris Baguette has an established presence but also in the center of the country.

“We did a pretty good job of east coast, west coast but we’re filling in the center,” said Mele. “We have operations that are happening now in Utah, Phoenix and Denver.” Mele also named markets like Dallas, Huston, Austin, Miami, Orlando, and Chicago as target growth markets.
