Pool Scouts, for example, hosts events to keep morale high. The Virginia Beach, VA-based organization hosted an employee cookout in June of last year to kick off the season and then ended the pool season in October with a company trip, as well.
"The two events serve as a celebration of the hard work that [our employees] put in,” Michael Wagner, president of Pool Scouts told Pool and Spa News.
Pool Scouts also offers quarterly Lunch and Learn sessions, and use gift cards as another popular, somewhat low-budget way to show employees that they’re valued.
