The organization raises money by partnering with individuals, businesses and foundations that want to be a force for good in their communities.&nbsp; Scholarships and tuition assistance are provided to children who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;According to the CDC, drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children ages four and under in the United States, and the second leading cause in children under 14. Notably,&nbsp; lower socioeconomic status is associated with higher risk of drowning. Participation in formal swim lessons reduces risk of drowning by 88%.
