Pool Scouts, the 115-territory pool cleaning franchise under the Buzz Franchise Brands umbrella, always makes time to honor its hard working franchisees. Recently, the brand traveled to the Omni Montelucia Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, to celebrate its franchisees in the “$1 Million Club,” or those who reached $1 million or more in revenue in 2022, alongside sister brand British Swim School.

Franchisees to attend alongside Pool Scouts President Michael Wagner, Director of Marketing Lynlea Rudell and Director of Operations Russell Gesher included Tiffany Glascock, Pool Scouts of Virginia Beach and Norfolk General Manager; Tiffiny Consoli and Stacey Schaffer, Pool Scouts of the Greater Triangle Region, North Carolina; Brent Berridge, Pool Scouts of Sugar Land, Texas; and John Breton, Pool Scouts of Mckinney, Texas. Notably, it was Berridge’s first year to make the $1 Million Club.

“At Pool Scouts, we love to take any chance we get to show our franchisees how much we appreciate them,” said Wagner. “All together, the $1 Million Club event was successful, and it was great to be surrounded by owners who are realizing their dreams.”

After separate sessions during the day, including a development session for British Swim School with Dr. Stevie Dawn Carter, the brands joined together for dinner together on Saturday. The following day, each brand took their owners on their own special excursions. The British Swim School participants chose between hiking or rock repelling for their adventure, while Pool Scouts took their group to new heights with a hot air balloon ride.

“It was a bucket list trip for me and my wife for sure,” said Breton. “Not only did we get to celebrate with our peers at a beautiful resort, but I was able to cross two wonderful lifetime experiences off my list. We took a great hot air balloon ride in Scottsdale, and my wife and I took the Grand Canyon Railway into the South Rim and saw it for the first time set in over four feet of snow. It was unforgettable.”

The celebration comes off the heels of a great year for Pool Scouts. The brand saw its franchise system grow at 67% year-over-year in system-wide revenue, with 58% more services and 42% more customers–well over 11,000 nationwide.

To commemorate a fantastic year, Pool Scouts invited franchisees and members of the brand to meet in person for the first time since 2020 at its annual Pool Scouts Convention in Cancún, Mexico.

“That event was a great opportunity for our franchisees and the corporate team to come together, learn from one another, celebrate successes and share best practices,” said Wagner. “The convention was a tremendous success and a wonderful, fulfilling experience for all involved.”

With an agenda jam-packed with engaging activities, panels, sessions, speeches and an awards dinner, attendees spent their time meeting and engaging with colleagues, learning about important best-practice business topics, networking with vendors and championing the brand's success. Pool Scouts plans to host another convention in 2023.

As franchisees already begin to make waves in 2023, Pool Scouts is looking forward to showing appreciation for them in unique ways, from accolades at annual conventions to events like the $1 Million Club to honor major milestones in revenue.

The start-up costs for a Pool Scouts franchise range from $70,950 to $88,350. To learn more about franchising with Pool Scouts, visit https://poolscoutsfranchise.com/.
