Tiffiny Consoli of Pool Scouts Awarded Franchisee of the Year by International Franchise Association
Recognized for being an outstanding owner-operator; Exemplifying excellence in the pool service industry and community efforts.
The International Franchise Association (IFA) today named Tiffiny Consoli of Pool Scouts in Raleigh, NC as Franchisee of the Year. Consoli was honored at IFA’s 62nd Annual Convention in San Diego, California, for being an outstanding franchise establishment owner-operator.
“Franchisee of the Year Awards are the highest honors presented to individual franchisees,” said Matthew Haller, President and CEO of the International Franchise Association. “These local business owners, like Consoli, represent some of the best entrepreneurs in the country, and we are proud to recognize her contributions to their communities, their employees, and all those they serve.”
The Franchisee of the Year Award, sponsored by IFA’s partner Paychex, recognizes leading franchisees who exemplify at least one of IFA’s “Open for Opportunity” core pillars: Community, Workforce, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Veterans.
Consoli, who was the pool cleaning and maintenance brand's first franchisee in 2016, just recently reached the $1M revenue mark and received the award for the highest net revenue for an established franchisee at the brand's national convention in January. Consoli has consistently remained in the brand’s systemwide top spot for customer recruitment and revenue and also stands out for her work with Hope Floats. In 2021, her partnership with Hope Floats Foundation provided over 60 free swim lessons to underprivileged children in the Raleigh area.
As a woman in a typically male dominated industry, reaching the top has been quite the journey for Consoli. When asked about her path to success, she said it was a willingness and commitment to learn the business, and to form relationship wherever she could in the industry; whether it was with suppliers, pool builders, sub-contractors, customers and employees. It is that commitment to those relationships that have brought her such success.
A recent IFA study showed that franchising helped lead U.S. economic recovery in 2021, with exceptional job and business growth across all franchising sectors. The industry on average provides higher wages, better benefits, and more leave than non-franchised businesses, as well as greater opportunities to underserved communities and aspiring entrepreneurs, according to Oxford Economics research.
