WPTV: Business is Booming for Pool Service and Maintenance Companies
Why Pool Scouts is seeing success amid the COVID-19 crisis in Boca Raton.

Who said social distancing can’t be fun?
According to WPTV, with school and work closures and many families isolated in their own homes, Boca Raton residents have been making regular use of their pools in order to remain active and entertained while maintaining social distancing guidelines. As a result, business for the local Pool Scouts has been increasing substantially since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Because the kids are home, ...they just want to use the pool constantly," Pool Scouts franchisee Roy Metzger told WPTV. "It's a great source of entertainment. They are constantly using the pool, and customers are calling us."
As an essential business, Pool Scouts has been open for business throughout the crisis in Boca Raton and is excited to continue to support the community throughout the remainder of the pandemic. With so much new business coming in, Metzger is even looking to bring on more staff to help with the upkeep of new pool maintenance clients.
