QSR: Smoothie King Signs 60-Unit Deal to Grow in Florida, Indianapolis
Multi-brand franchisee John Clancy will vastly expand his portfolio with the smoothie franchise
Smoothie King has announced a 60-unit development deal to grow in Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
According to a press release published on qsr.com, the development deal was struck with John Clancy, a multi-brand franchisee who already owns three Smoothie King locations in Connecticut, Florida and New York. Clancy also owns 27 Planet Fitness gyms in Ohio and Florida.
“This is the right time to invest in brands that cater to healthy living, and Smoothie King stands out in that space,” said Clancy. “Wan Kim’s leadership and commitment to the company vision, combined with its superior products, finely tuned franchise organization and strong financials make this a great opportunity for our team.
