Now, they have started their journey into franchising.Grégoire&nbsp;Jacquet has worked in kitchens at high-end restaurants in the U.S. and his home country, France, including seven years with the Ritz Carlton in Puerto Rico, Boston and San Francisco. Jacquet and his wife, Tara, moved to the Bay Area at the turn of the century, and in 2002, he opened the doors to Grégoire.Since opening, not much has changed over the past 20 years, and customers love their four staple items: french fries, poutine, crispy potato puffs and fried chicken. While working in fine dining, Jacquet found that there was a lack of places to eat quality food. “I wanted to create a place where you can get good food all day long,” said Jacquet.Jacquet’s goal is to grow Grégoire locally and then nationally. Franchisees will have access to a culinary hub kitchen where they can go and pick up fresh food every day.
