Since then, he has become a multi-unit operator with more than 10 locations across Alabama and Tennessee. Over the past 12 years, Green has learned a lot throughout his experience as a franchise owner, but he acknowledges that it wasn’t without a fair share of hard work and dedication.&nbsp;Working in a senior- and adult-focused franchise concept, Green said he encountered hurdles right from the start. Because of his age, people often wouldn’t take him seriously and others weren’t sure if his business was going to last. To combat this early on, Green developed strong training systems, best practices, and relationships both internally and externally to ensure he was preparing the company for long-term success“People that I called about the business are now people that I call my dearest friends,” said Green. “We’ve been really tenacious in the business, and I’ve loved it.”As the years passed, Green noticed a notable increase in respect for the business, particularly as he began opening new franchise locations throughout Alabama and beyond.&nbsp;“We let our services speak for themselves,” said Green. He also attributes his success directly to assembling the right team and fostering effective communication.&nbsp;“It’s about surrounding yourself with people who will keep you in check,” he said. “It’s not just me in this. We couldn’t have expanded without the key people that are still with us.
