After 25 years of marriage, it was time for Rob and Sandy Chester to forge a partnership of a different kind&#8212;one in business. Using both Rob and Sandy Chester&#8217;s expertise from working in the insurance industry and as a registered nurse, respectively, the couple chose to open a Right at Home to serve the elderly in their community. Opening their first location three years ago in Pennsylvania, the business duo has recently expanded into a second territory in Maryland. &#8220;Franchising is great because you don&#8217;t have to start from scratch,&#8221; Rob told Entrepreneur. &#8220;You get a support system, and there is already an established and successful business model laid out for you to follow.&#8221; Although it can be difficult to find qualified caregivers, the couple enjoys owning Right at Home locations because they like to give back to the community. &#8220;Right at Home really aligned very well with our life experiences,&#8221; Rob said. &#8220;We felt that we had the right background and passions to do well as Right at Home franchisees.
