Then, I moved into project and product management roles.&nbsp;Last year, I left my job because I felt it was not where I belonged. I really wanted to do something on my own, and that's been in the back of my head all the time. I started exploring a good bunch of business opportunities. Early this year in February, I came across another franchisee owner at a party. We started talking about what they do and it just clicked for me. I started looking for opportunities in my area.&nbsp;My territory was available where I lived and I don't like to travel a lot, so it was the perfect opportunity.1851: What was your perception of franchising prior to becoming a franchisee, and what do you want people to know about franchising now that you are in it?Kaur:&nbsp;I am actually pretty confident since it is a franchising model because I got to learn a lot from the existing franchisees and their experiences. There will always be hiccups. Although the corporate team can assist me, it's ultimately my business so I need to figure it out.
