Jacksonville Business Journal: Right at Home to Open in Jacksonville, Florida as Demand for Senior Care Rises
With more than 500 locations across the globe, the leading brand is bringing its concept to new communities in 2017.
Right at Home franchisee Kimberley Schafer first started looking into business opportunities within the senior assistance sector after realizing the amount of care and attention required by family members as a loved one grows older. Now, Schafer is getting ready to open a Right at Home in Jacksonville that's scheduled to open this May.
"In the Jacksonville market we have a lot of snowbirds, and there are families are trying to figure out care for their relatives that may live in multiple cities," Schafer told the Jacksonville Business Journal. "For someone like myself with a marketing background, Right At Home's commitment to quality and their strong brand drew me to them."
Right at Home currently has 18 locations throughout Florida and over 500 offices worldwide. Schafer's Right at Home will be the only location serving the Jacksonville area and upon opening, will bring 20 jobs to the city.
"This market and business is booming and we expect to grow rapidly. We need a broad number of caregivers and after our initial launch, we will always be hiring," Schafer told the Jacksonville Business Journal.
