In a report focusing on the national economic impact of ageing, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development&#8217;s (OECD) David Carey stated that while The Netherlands possesses one of the OECD&#8217;s most stable economies, its ageing population &#8220;has proven a hard nut to crack.&#8221; &#8220;The population of the Netherlands is ageing rapidly,&#8221; Carey said. &#8220;As in other OECD countries, the main causes are the decline in fertility rates since the 1970s and rising life expectancy, especially for the elderly.&#8221; With the nation&#8217;s elderly adult population set to hit 24.8 percent by 2025 , Right at Home will certainly have its work cut out for it. Creating new alternatives Right at Home Nederland will provide Dutch consumers with alternatives to what&#8217;s currently available. The company stated that some public services are currently in a state of transition, leaving elderly adults and their families confused regarding their options. For instance, elderly companion and personal care services are among the programs to be cut by the nation&#8217;s federal government in 2015 in favor of a decentralized approach. What&#8217;s more, the government is said to be encouraging friends and relatives to take on greater roles in caring for elderly adults to offset health care costs. Initiatives such as these are sure to increase demand for quality care options, especially as so many individuals are inadequately prepared to take on such duties. &#8220;It&#8217;s my intention to ease the disorientation and confusion surrounding new government policies in senior care and provide Holland with a simple, proven in-home solution for those who need care and assistance,&#8221; van de Burgt said. &#8220;Through Right at Home, we will offer professional care and peace of mind for our clients, the future aging generation and their loved ones with a personalized, transparent and direct process.&#8221;</div></div>
