A record-breaking attendance of more than 500 franchisees and staff gathered at the Rosen Center this year from April 25-28.&nbsp;The annual Home Improvement conference is a time when&nbsp;<a href="https://1851franchise.com/rightathome">Right at Home</a> invites all international master licensees, global partners, franchisees, office staff, and subject matter experts from the corporate office to come together to learn, network, and reignite their passion for the brand.&nbsp;“We like to think of it as a family reunion,” said Right at Home Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations Emily Undajon. “Everyone comes together, gets re-energized, and learns more about what they could do to elevate their caregiver and client experiences. They then take these actionable insights back to their offices to implement.”&nbsp;The Biggest HighlightsFor the first time, Right at Home welcomed three outside keynote speakers. They were Scott Greenberg, former Edible Arrangements multi-unit franchisee; Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour, former U.S. Marine fighter pilot and an action-oriented business entrepreneur; and David VanderMolen, Chief Catalyst at Inspired 2 Change, LLC.&nbsp;Attendees heard from speakers on the main stage each day of the conference, and members of the Right at Home leadership team provided updates on the brand’s strategic roadmap and three-year plan. There were also various discussions on topics such as innovation and technology, the value of being in a performance group, and how to best leverage applicant tracking systems. Franchisees also browsed an exhibitor hall that featured over 50 vendors and partners.Additionally, Right at Home’s new COO, Rod Roberts, was formally introduced to the network. Roberts joined the team in March and is responsible for leading core operational functions, maximizing efficiencies, and supporting high-performing teams to scale clinical excellence, international business, and company-owned operations.Notably, there is something for everyone to learn at the Home Improvement conference. “One of the things I love about the conference is that we have different learning tracks for each office staff role,” said Undajon. “We invite franchisees to bring their team members, so they can take advantage of these learning tracks. This year, there were a couple of breakout sessions dedicated to recruiters, and salespeople could attend sessions dedicated to marketing and sales fundamentals.”&nbsp;One of the most exciting parts of the week was when the regional caregivers of the year were announced during a general session, and the national caregiver of the year was unveiled at the awards banquet, something Undajon says is always “a very moving part” of the ceremony.Why Franchisees Should AttendAll week, franchisees benefit from priceless learnings and takeaways they can use to better their own businesses back home. But for many franchisees, the best part of attending the Home Improvement conference is the networking opportunities. This is one of the only times Right at Home owners are around this many of their fellow franchisees at once, so it gives them an opportunity to meet people they haven't already met and reconnect with those they have.&nbsp;“The conference is open to all franchisees across the world,” said&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rightathome.net/northern-lake-county?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=right-at-home-hosts-record-attendance-at-its-annual-home-care-conference-2722372" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Mike Steiner</a>, who owns a Right at Home in Grayslake, Illinois. “It's where we get together to learn new ways to improve our business, share best practices, and build camaraderie with other owners. Networking is a huge part of it every year.”&nbsp;Tucson, Arizona-based franchisee&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rightathome.net/tucson?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=right-at-home-hosts-record-attendance-at-its-annual-home-care-conference-2722372" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Karen Kochhar</a> enjoys having all of her colleagues in the same place and having meaningful conversations with people from around the world. “You can build those relationships and use them throughout the year,” she said. “You make connections and can call them for advice in different areas.
