Right at Home Inks 400th Franchise Deal, Announces Goal for Continued Expansion
In-home care franchise strengthens national presence and continues leadership position in the segment.

Right at Home, an international in-home care franchise, continues to position itself as the leader in its industry, strengthening its presence stateside and abroad. The brand has recently hit an important milestone, awarding its 400th franchise contract in the U.S. to entrepreneur Ben Aydin of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
“We’ve signed agreements for 175 units in the past three years, and we are showing no signs of slowing down,” said Eric Little, Senior Vice President of Franchise Development for Right at Home. “But it’s not just about the numbers. Our strategy of recruiting franchise owners who are pursuing Success with SignificanceTM in their own lives has allowed us to find absolutely fantastic franchisees who are making a positive difference every day in their local communities.”
The Success with SignificanceTM initiative is about finding franchisees who not only want to be successful, but also make a difference in the lives of others. Right at Home’s Franchise Development team prides itself on finding men and women who are seeking financial independence as small business owners while helping those around them, marrying the pursuit of prosperous entrepreneurship with a purpose-driven mission to create independence for seniors and the disabled.
The owner of Right at Home’s 400th domestic franchise location, Aydin, joins the brand after seeking care for his own aging parents and noticing a lack of care services in his area. With this new territory, he will now be able to service Coopersburg, Allentown, Kurtztown, New Tripoli, Orefield and Zionsville in Pennsylvania, and the brand hopes to use Aydin’s success to further develop in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, Penn. this year.
“With 21 current territories already serving families in Pennsylvania, Ben’s milestone opening will further solidify the Right at Home brand’s strong presence and commitment to the area as we look for qualified franchisees in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton this year,” said Little.
Right at Home currently has 383 total territories in operation, and another 17 in the process of opening, including Aydin. The company is now operating in 45 states and has 56 international offices servicing nine countries. In order to support the brand’s rapid expansion, 15 new corporate staff member positions were added to the system in 2014.
Due to its outstanding growth figures, Right at Home has been acknowledged in 2014 and 2015 by Franchise Times in its “Fast & Serious” list as one of the top 30 smartest-growing brands in the franchising industry and by Forbes Magazine as one of the best franchises to own.
“Our growth is a direct result of our dedicated franchisees and caregivers who are consistently offering top quality service and care to satisfied customers with the on-going support of our corporate staff,” said Right at Home CEO and President Brian Petranick. “Our continued commitment to improving the quality of life for our elderly and disabled clients and their families in local communities will drive our growth into new cities across the U.S. and new countries around the world.”
With an average of 10,000 people turning 65 each day in America, the demand for in-home care services has increased. Additionally, dual income families and smaller family size means there are fewer adult children available to administer assistance for their aging parents.
To meet this growing need, Right at Home expects to award another 45 locations nationwide in 2015, including specific emphasis on development in Virginia Beach, Va.; Peoria, Ill.; Madison, Wis.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Miami, Fla.; Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Orlando, Fla.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Springfield, Mass.; and Rochester, Minn.
