Right at Home franchisee Paula Nelson stopped by the WXMI newsroom in Grand Rapids, Michigan to discuss how to keep seniors safe and healthy as the summer temperatures begin to rise.
Nelson went over how you should seek an air-conditioned environment, and explained that if your home is not air conditioned to visit an air-conditioned shopping mall, movie theater or public library to cool off instead. She also mentioned how seniors can shower to keep their body temperatures down as well as wear lightweight, loose-fitting, cotton clothing.
