DMA — Seniors Helping Seniors®, the 200-plus-unit, at-home senior care franchise, which is differentiated by its mature workforce of caregivers who create meaningful relationships with their senior clients, has expanded to include facility-based services, completing its circle of care.

Called Seniors Helping Seniors 360™, the new model has expanded the franchise brand’s services to include Assisted Living, Nursing Home Care, Memory Care and Adult Day Care.  These facility-based services have been added in response to a growing demand for an array of senior care services to meet the individual needs of clients.

“Our clients have always celebrated the relationship with our company. However, they have also asked for more,” said Kiran Yocom, the brand’s founder. “We were tired of having to say no to their needs, yet, we needed to ensure operational excellence before delivering a new level of service to them.”

By adding “360” to its name, Seniors Helping Seniors is underlining how its new services offer a complete suite of care options for seniors. But the brand has long stood apart from other senior care facilities by focusing on the benefits of strong personal relationships between caregivers and their clients, and those relationships remain at the heart of Seniors Helping Seniors®’s services, whether provided at home or in a facility.

"When we are privileged to be invited to your home to visit with you, we get to know you personally, too,” said Daniel Jan, vice president of operations. “We want to find just the right fit for your personality and your needs. If we don’t have someone who matches your personality and needs, we won’t take the assignment.  We would rather turn down the business than have you less than thrilled with our company."

For all of Seniors Helping Seniors®’s services, which now include health monitoring, catheter management, care for Alzheimer’s and dementia and many other medical and non-medical care services, the brand is committed to hiring only the best, most passionate and dedicated caregivers.

"Our senior caregivers go through a thorough process of vetting and training,” Jan said. “We look for just the right heart in every potential caregiver. If they don’t meet our heart standards, we don’t hire them. Once we find the right heart, we get to know their personality, interests and skills. All this, before we even start the lengthy training process!"

By offering both at-home and facility-based services, Seniors Helping Seniors® is ensuring that every senior, regardless of their care needs, can benefit from the brand’s commitment to “The Power of Love®.”

“We put love at the center of everything we do,” said Yocom. “We truly believe in The Power of Love® and Bringing love into the lives of Seniors with Dignity and Respect®.”

ABOUT SENIORS HELPING SENIORS®
Seniors Helping Seniors® was founded by husband-and-wife duo Kiran and Philip Yocom. Kiran, who grew up in India, later worked to advance humanitarian efforts alongside Mother Teresa. After moving to the U.S. in 1995 and marrying her husband Philip, the Yocoms felt called to provide loving care to seniors and to cultivate an exchange of gifts at every generational level. Together, the Yocoms founded Seniors Helping Seniors® in 1998, opening the brand up to franchising in 2006. With a mission to be the most respected and rewarding homecare provider in the U.S., Seniors Helping Seniors® stands apart from competitors as the only company that prioritizes hiring active seniors to provide care services to their less-active counterparts. Seniors Helping Seniors® aligns caregivers and care recipients based on the abilities and needs of both by offering a wide range of care services. Seniors Helping Seniors® has grown to nearly 200 locations in 30-plus states and seven international locations, with 125 franchise partners.
