Mandatory quarantine guidelines can take a toll on mental health for seniors. However, Yocom explained how the brand has continued to engage with clients while preventing the spread of the virus at the same time. To ensure the safety and sanitation of caregivers and receivers, Seniors Helping Seniors advises that hands are washed and either masks or scarves are worn during visits.
"We don't tell them that we are not going to come because of COVID-19. We say, 'Of course. We will be there,' because we know these are the people who are craving for love” said Yocom.
